Introduction to DLLC
The Digital Language Learning Center (DLLC), formerly known as the Language Center, is a flagship unit under the Faculty of Humanities at BINUS University. Established in 2010 from the expansion of the Self-Access Language Acquisition Center (SALLC), it originally focused on self-study materials for foreign language learners—such as books, multimedia, dictionaries, and software. In 2021–2022, DLLC transformed into a fully digital hub by rolling out the Beelingua mobile app—an interactive, gamified platform covering English, Japanese, and Mandarin—marking its evolution into DLLC.
Mission & Objectives
Aligned with the Faculty of Humanities’ vision of empowering society through digital literacy and interdisciplinary values, DLLC now focuses on:
-
Developing and managing digital teaching-learning materials, especially through Beelingua, to enhance language proficiency in multiple languages.
