BINUS University Explores Korean Language Education Collaboration with Korean Education Center in Indonesia

Jakarta, October 15, 2026 — The Digital Language Learning Center (DLLC) of BINUS University conducted an institutional visit to the Korean Education Center in Indonesia (KECID) to explore potential collaboration in Korean language education, digital learning content development, and academic expertise exchange.

The visit served as an opportunity for both institutions to exchange insights on Korean language education initiatives in Indonesia and identify potential areas of collaboration to enhance the quality and accessibility of Korean language learning.

During the discussion, KECID introduced several of its key educational initiatives, including the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS), the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK), Korean language programs in Indonesian schools, and Study in Korea initiatives. KECID also shared its efforts to expand access to Korean language education through learning resources, teacher support, and language courses for the general public.

A key focus of the visit was exploring opportunities to strengthen Korean language learning content on Beelingua, BINUS University’s digital language learning platform. The discussion highlighted potential support through access to Korean language teaching resources and connections with subject matter experts who could contribute to content review and quality assurance.
