Beelingua is an innovative, user-friendly platform that integrates modern technology with pedagogical best practices to offer high-quality language instruction tailored to the needs of BINUS students. Designed to support both academic requirements and personal enrichment, Beelingua offers courses that are aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) and Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) ensuring internationally recognized standards of proficiency.

As of now, Beelingua offers three main language learning tracks, each serving different educational objectives and student profiles within BINUS University:

  1. English (Levels A1.1 to C2.2)

The English course track is a mandatory enrichment requirement for all BINUS University students. Placement into the appropriate English level is determined through the BINUS Placement Test (BPT) or entrance examination. This comprehensive course aims to build foundational to advanced English skills, supporting students in academic settings, international programs, and global career aspirations. The structured curriculum helps learners progressively develop reading, writing, listening, and speaking competencies essential for academic and professional success.

  1. Chinese (Levels A1.1 to A2.2)

The Chinese language track is offered as an elective course for students participating in the Journey Maverick program. It also serves as a credit transfer course for students enrolled in the Global Business Chinese program. This curriculum introduces students to basic Mandarin communication skills and Chinese business insights, preparing them for international exposure and professional roles in Chinese-speaking environments.

  1. Japanese (Levels A1.1 to A2.2)

Similarly, the Japanese course is available as an additional language option for Journey Maverick participants and is also part of the credit transfer system for students in the Japanese Popular Culture program. With a focus on everyday communication and popular culture immersion, this course is ideal for students interested in Japanese society, media, and business environments.
